For Arjan, his connection to film really began with Jurassic Park in '93. That love stemmed from reading the books, listening to soundtracks - as well as learning the names of the actors and taking in as much information given in making-of documentaries as possible. Next to original stories, early on he began to answer questions that the movies left open, which eventually led to Extinction Level: Jurassic Park. Instead of becoming a scientist, which Jurassic Park aspired him to, his love for analyzing led him to become an engineer in software testing. Along with a full-time job, he's still writing stories as a hobby and is producing episodes for the radioplay. He lives with his wife and son in the Netherlands.
