First Look At 'Jurassic World: Chaos Theory

The first trailer for ‘Jurassic World: Chaos Theory’ has arrived - and if this is anything to go by, then the sequel to Camp Cretaceous looks set to be the post-Fallen Kingdom adventure many of us have been craving since the release of Jurassic World Dominion. Check out the first trailer below:

We are so excited to see that the queen of Nublar makes her return in the series - in a sequence which appears incredibly similar to the scene we see at the drive-thru theatre in Jurassic World Dominion. Camp Cretaceous didn’t shy away from recreating moments from Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom in it’s third season - so perhaps we will see that again in this series! We have to admit that the Rex looks great here - with the same render we’ve come to know and love from Dreamwork’s last outing in the Jurassic universe.

Even more exciting is the inclusion of a grown-up Darius Bowman - who now appears to be out in the wild hunting down the dinosaurs following the conclusion of Camp Cretaceous. The return of the main character from the prior series implies that we may once again see the ‘Nublar Six’ reunited - something which will be a treat for fans of the original show. We’re curious to see where Darius’s story factors into the wider universe in this series. Will he be working with the US Fish and Wildlife service? Or perhaps he is likely to cross paths with Claire Dearing? Only time will tell.

For now, what we can say is that it feels fantastic to have new Jurassic on the horizon - and we can’t wait to see what the animated series entails. If this can get back to the more mature world-building which we saw in the third series of Camp Cretaceous, then we think that fans will be in for a treat when the show debuts in 2024.
